The VHP optimizes hull and wave drag while lifting higher out of the water during the recovery cycle, further reducing contact area in the water. Crews experience faster acceleration during the drive and more run during recovery, and are better able to translate their effort into speed. Using the latest in computational fluid dynamics and data collection techniques, Vespoli\u2019s naval architects analyzed the pitch, speed, and wetted surface of the VHP hulls throughout the entirety of the stroke cycle. NEW! Available on all VHP Coxed Fours, winter 2019. Twelve percent lighter than the alloy version and stiffer both torsionally and laterally. Low-profile design, titanium mounting sleeves, Mil-A-8625 Type III hard-coat pin block, UV-resistant clear coating.<\/p>\n

This rigger pairs with a NEW carbon, reversible backstay. One backstay can adjust to either side of the boat. It is lightweight and has an internal Mil-A-8625 Type III hard-coated screw to adjust length.<\/p>\n

The VHP variable shoe system has an adjustable heel and crossover straps for fast change-overs.<\/p>\n

Vespoli VHP shoes are designed with a wide toe box, snug wraparound tongue, arch-support straps, generous Achilles cut-out, open collar, plenty of drain holes, quick-drying mesh, and ventilated heel cups.
